Being a part of the RRMS News Crew requires you to be On Track and have Respect, Responsibility and to be a Royal Knight at all times! If you think you have what it takes to try out for the News Crew, fill out the application below. There are limited positions available, so if you do not make it this time you can always apply again next year!

If you make the News Crew, you must be available every morning and arrive to the News Room as soon as you arrive on campus.

Check up to 2 positions that you would be interested in: News Anchor - must have a clear speaking voice, enthusiasm and have good reading fluency. (May require an audition with Mrs. Baumaister) Teleprompter - updates the slides that our anchors read each morning. Must have strong typing, spelling, and organization skills. Audio Producer - maintains the equipment that controls the sound (microphones) Video Producer - maintains the equipment and video software that broadcasts the news. Equipment Manager - maintains the cleanliness of the equipment, including mics and cameras. Troubleshoots issues as needed to make sure news runs smoothly.
