National Junior Honor Society Application

National Junior Honor Society Application

Welcome to the organization the world’s highest achieving middle-level students have been proudly adding to their résumés since 1929. There is only one National Junior Honor Society (NJHS), and it provides an outstanding opportunity to grow with academically accomplished peers who are sharpening the habits needed for success in middle school, in high school, and beyond.

Excited to learn about membership in the National Junior Honor Society? We don’t blame you! Much more than an honor roll, NJHS is a distinctive multifaceted learning experience that provides a solid and meaningful foundation for life. The five pillars of NJHS are Leadership, Scholarship, Service, Character, and Citizenship.

The application process is open in the fall to 7th and 8th graders and in the spring to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.

You will need the following to apply to this National organization- NJHS:
A 3.0 GPA
A teacher recommendation
A 200-word autobiography about how leadership, scholarship, service, character, and/or citizenship have been a part of who you are up to this point.

Please complete the NJHS application by Monday, September 28. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Wierenga at hwiereng@pasco.k12.fl.us.
