During this presentation, we introduced not only ourselves but also additional staff members, such as administrators, counselors, support staff, etc., that students can connect with while on campus for support. The purpose of the presentation is to put names with faces and discuss expectations for academics, attendance, and behavior here at River Ridge Middle School. We also reviewed the Steps Process regarding discipline and behavior management, as well as policies and protocols for Dress Code and Wireless Communication Devices. Additionally, we covered how to contact a Royal Staff member and the distinction between an Incident Report and a FortifyFL Report. What the students were most interested in was the events and opportunities on campus! These include dances, Monthly Enrichment Activities, the School Store, Royal Ambassadors, Student Council, Thespians, and so much more! The presentation can be viewed here:

Students were encouraged to check myStudent daily to stay current with Communication, grades, attendance, and behavior. myStudent Communication is how we will be communicating with students and families regarding River Ridge Middle School events, updates, testing, and more.
