Red Ribbon Week will be held from October 23rd – 27th. This is an alcohol, tobacco, and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually in October in the United States. Please see the events for the week below, along with our dress up days.
Monday, October 23rd
*Rally in Red Dress Up Day – wear Red
*Incentive Field Day Kickoff- students will receive wrist bands to enter Field Day for being On Track.
*Classroom Door Decoration Contest begins.
*Red Ribbon Pins – Student Council will be selling Knights Are Drug Free pins for $1.00 BEFORE school in Media. All money collected will be donated to the RRMS ABC Fund. Students who purchase a pin (until they are sold out) will have their name entered into a drawing for a Red Ribbon Gift Basket.
*Window Decorating – Student Council will sponsor Window Decorating in the Media windows. Students can “rent” a window for $2.00 and decorate it with a Red Ribbon Theme. Window markers will be provided. Decorating can be done during lunches, Knight Time, or after school. Winning window will win a prize.

*We Are Crazy About Being Drug Free – Wear crazy hair and crazy socks
