This week at RRMS we will be participating in Celebrate Literacy Week! We will have dress up days each day to celebrate literacy as well as several activities on the news to promote where reading can take us!
We will have the following extra fun to promote literacy! Dress up, get caught reading, and get involved to earn Royal Rewards!
STUDENT PRIZE BASKET FOR READING: If students enter a book into the Student Reading Log (located on their dashboard), and it gets approved, they will be entered into a drawing for a prize basket. We will show the prize basket on the news on Monday. We will pick a name live on the news on Friday.
DAILY CLASS CONTEST: Each day next week we will also have a different background for our news anchors each day that represents a book that was turned into a movie. Each class that has the correct guess will be entered into a drawing for a prize (snack). We will announce the class winner each morning.
KNIGHT TIME DRESS UP CONTEST: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday we are asking students and staff to wear shirts that go along with the daily theme. Each Knight Time class that have students who dress up will be entered into a drawing for a prize!
