We are so excited to welcome all of our Royal Knights back to the River Ridge campus this year! We have been planning with the administrative and leadership teams to reunite all of our Royal Knights for the best year yet! There is a lot of important information in this newsletter so please make sure to review it in its entirety. As always, if you have any questions or need clarification, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Last year held many challenges, but as a Royal Family we persevered and adapted to our new normal. Our students and staff continued to succeed by earning the Florida PBIS Resilience Award and promoting 100% of our 8th graders to high school. This upcoming year we will continue our STAY SAFE protocols on campus as we carefully welcome back some of our traditions like dances, pep rallies, and field trips.
-At arrival, students will continue to pick up their free breakfast from the cafeteria and go straight to first period every day.
-We will have three lunches (by grade level) where students will have options to sit outside, in the media center, and in the cafeteria.
-We will continue with a consistent cleaning regiment for high touch areas, restrooms, and classrooms. We will also provide cleaning products and hand sanitizer in high traffic areas.
-We will continue with social distancing, where feasible, in the classrooms and hallways.
-At dismissal, students will not congregate in the courtyards and will proceed directly to their bus, car, bike rack, or walk home.
We also highly recommend that ALL students bring their own hand sanitizer, school supplies, earbuds, calculator, water bottle and laptop/tablets/iPad to keep with them in their backpacks throughout the day.
